Tasting notes
Vivid red. Expansive aromas of red and dark berry preserves, Moroccan spices and incense take on a suave floral nuance with aeration. Fleshy and seamless in the mouth, offering intense, densely packed, mineral-tinged raspberry and blueberry flavors and a hint of candied lavender. Finishes seamless, sweet and extremely long, featuring an echo of sweet red fruit, supple tannins and resonating florality. (JR)

Terrific aromas of strawberry and rose petal with a superb energy and vibrance. Full body, incredible power and depth with a fabulous balance and intensity. A tightly wound ball of silky. Superb quality here. Better in 2020. *#25 in James Suckling's Top 100 Wines of 2016*
The 2013 Pinot Noir Mineral Springs Ranch includes 30% whole cluster and was aged for 12 months in 40% new French oak. It has a rather broody bouquet at first - Morello cherry and boysenberry, the whole cluster imparting subtle sous-bois aromas. It just needs some bottle age to open. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp red cherries and fresh strawberry; it has fine tannins and a harmonious, sensual finish that is sophisticated and plain delicious. This is a great Pinot Noir from Soter.
