The 2019 Cuvee Torchiana Chardonnay Beresini Vineyard comes from a dry-farmed site with 30-year-old vines. There's a bit more lime here, accenting honeyed notes of white peach, and classic hints of gently toasted hazelnuts. Full-bodied and generous but also possessed of a bright, citrusy freshness and a lengthy finish, this is a terrific Carneros Chardonnay.

Aromas of nougat, cooked apple, honey and dried apples. This is full-bodied and very deep and round. Lots of dried fruit. The mid-palate is spread out. So long and wonderful. Spicy and pie-crust character. 10 barrels made. Drink or hold.
The 2019 Chardonnay Beresini Vineyard Cuvée Torchiana is another fabulous Chardonnay from Tor. Rich, deep and explosive in feel, the 2019 possesses tremendous density and tons of fruit intensity. White orchard fruit, lemon peel, white flowers, pineapple and tropical accents build into the deep, substantial finish. Readers should plan on cellaring the Beresini for at least a year or two, as it is youthfully exuberant today.
