Tasting notes
A ripe, voluptuous wine, the 2014 Zinfandel Turley Estate is racy, intense and full-throttle to the core. Deep, dark fruit super-ripe, racy and voluptuous shows the personality of this site in St. Helena. Heady, intense and super-ripe the Turley Estate is a wine for readers who like intense, ample, creamy wines.

From their home property, the 2014 Zinfandel Turley Estate (15.6% alcohol) is another gorgeously delicious, full-bodied Zinfandel with a dense ruby/purple color, loads of blueberry, black raspberry and black cherry fruit, a lavish, opulent mouthfeel, and terrific purity and density. This is another stunner and one of the great 2014s Larry Turley and his staff have produced. Drink it over the next decade.
The 2014 Zinfandel Turley Estate offers an unusual level of power for the year. Tobacco, cedar, menthol and licorice add nuance, but above all else, the 2014 is a wine of textural depth, especially in the mid-palate, where the wine shows an intensity that most of Turley's other 2014 Zinfandels don't have.
