Tasting notes
Rich dark crimson. Very sweet cherry juice on the front of the palate which then tightens to an extremely focussed finish. This is certainly the 'velvety beverage' that Michael Browns says he wants to create, although it is a long, long way from burgundy. (JR)

Vivid red. Intensely spicy aromas of black raspberry, cherry skin, anise and white pepper. Lush and sweet, with deep, focused red and dark berry flavors, silky texture and a late kick of brown spices. I really like this wine's energy and finishing clarity.
