Score 89/100 · Drink 2005-2015, Robert Parker, Feb 2005

The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon John C. Sullinger may be the finest of this quartet. A dark ruby/purple color is accompanied by sweet aromas of creme de cassis, licorice, and flowers. Medium-bodied, with supple tannin, and an outstanding mid-palate as well as finish, this elegant, pretty Cabernet possesses admirable restraint allied with excellent richness and purity. Drink it over the next decade. Tel. (707) 944-0693
