Tasting notes
Full bottle 1,455 g. Smells of mature Riesling with a hint of TDN. Bone dry and not utterly unlike a top Australian Riesling. Crystalline but there are signs that the fruit may be beginning to fade. Or perhaps it just needs a bit of air? The fruit came out more with time. Pretty impressive. (JR)

Full bottle 1,445 g. Some attractive evolution on the nose and lots of pure stoniness and Riesling verve on the (dry) palate. This will be served alongside Red Newt 2015 from the Finger Lakes with asparagus. I expect this to look much steelier. And for it to have a very long life. (JR)
AP number 17 17. Smoky/herbal spontaneous-fermentation aroma. Mineral in a more 'oily' way. Deep, crisp and piercing on the palate; some green fruit on the long finish. A precise, intense wine with a long, taut finish. Still incredibly youthful. (JH)
Grown on rocky limestone. Really juicy and flagrantly fresh even at five years old. Bless limestone! Really stunning wine with such confidence and power and freshness. Relatively GV . (JR)
