Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2028-2037, Jancis Robinson MW, Mar 2025

90% Mourvedre, 10% Grenache. Barnyardy aromas and a bit reminiscent of the smell of leather saddles; black olive, blackened meat and thyme. Hefty and ripe but not unbalanced. Dense, brooding tannins. A great representative of Bandol but not a wine for those averse to brett or tannins. (JRL)
