Tasting notes
Score 86/100 · Robert Parker, Jan 2003

Fully mature and beginning to fade, the 1985 shows a garnet color with considerable amber at the edge. Notes of herbs, sweet currants, and spice box are there in this medium-bodied, low-acid, plump wine. As it sits in the glass, the wine fades badly. Anticipated maturity: Drink now. Last tasted, 11/01.
