From the same stable as Château Beychevelle. Has a definite savoury leathery, even slightly chocolatey tone – very recognisable bordeaux at what should be a reasonable price. Proper bordelais structure – the tannin is integrated but gives light astringency. Medium length with no bitterness or sourness. A good all-rounder! (RH)
