Clay and limestone soils. Younger vines, partly recently replanted. 60 ares in total. Bright lemon hue. Lively acidity. Nice weight with a mealy, savoury turn. Just a whisper of oak. Maybe lacking a little oomph on the finish (that has to be the younger vines) but it’s fresh and elegant. (MH)

Tank sample. Quite a heavy bottle used for the entire range! Very cool and mineral on the nose – no hint of the lemon and savoury oak formula so often found in other Meursaults. Real impact on the palate with great refreshment and a lightly floral hint. Clean and appetising. (JR)
