Score 95-97/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2025

As usual, the 2023 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru is the wine that will require the most patience in the Dugat-Py range this year. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of exotic spices, dark berries, blood orange and peony, it's full-bodied, deep and layered, with a brooding core of fruit underpinned by a chassis of fine, sweet tannins, concluding with a long, saline finish.
