Monopole. Cask sample. Lots more oak on show compared with the village Vosne. Needs time once bottled. Darker fruit on the palate. Sweetness as well. A lovely combination of ripe tannins, high-quality oak, ripe fruit and bright acidity. Best to keep this for at least 12–18 months though. Lovely sweetness on the finish. (AWH)
