There’s instant depth on the nose, with rich, bramble fruit. You can feel the warmth of the year, with an intensity and sweetness to the palate, but the tannins build gradually, balancing the fruit, while there’s plenty of juicy, fresh acidity too. The fruit reverberates on the finish, with a lift of sweet spice and hint of pepper. While not revealing its full complexity yet, give this time and you’ll be rewarded.
