Tasting notes

Tasting notes
FINE+RARE, Nov 2024

Coming from five different parcels across the vineyard, this wine offers a perfect cross-section of the Chenevottes terroir. It’s very mineral, with deep, elegant notes of nuts and frangipane. There’s a hint of warmth of the palate, but this will integrate with time – balanced by good acidity and density of fruit. The first attack on the palate is precise and clean, surrounded by great acidity, somehow very flexible, round and deep. Chenevottes is the most approachable of the 2023 line-up at this stage and can be opened before the Clos Saint-Jean, for example. This is excellent.
