Tasting notes
Score 17/20 · Drink 2024-2034, Jancis Robinson MW, Aug 2025

Full bottle 1,337 g. Presumably a blend of their Cazetiers and Champeaux, like the 2015 and 2019. They have just 0.196 ha of the former (less than half an acre), 75% of it planted 60 years ago and the rest in 1999, and 0.294 ha (0.73 acre) of the latter planted in 1981. Both plots are mid hillside and benefit from extended sunlight hours. Transparent cherry red. Earthy and dried-cherry notes. Fruit is also just a little dried rather than luscious but there is excellent freshness and balance with real vitality on the finish which is more expansive than the mid palate. A good sign! Tannins well receded. (JR)
