Score 17/20 · Drink 2021-2028, Alistair Cooper MW, jancisrobinson.com, Oct 2020

100% Syrah. Aged for 15–18 months in demi-muids. Cask sample. Tasted blind. Plummy and quite shy nose. Good oak integration adding some cedary sweetness, which is supported by good acidity and ripe sweet black fruit. A dense powerful wine but has a lovely minerality beneath, which is beginning to show through. (AC)
