Tasting notes
70% Pinot Blanc, 30% Auxerrois. Unoaked. Unusual to find a five-year-old wine in a supermarket, especially at this price. Light nutty nose with definite evolution. Acidity is on the low side but it's dry enough. It's a bargain price at £12.50 but is suitable only for those who really like mature white. Just slightly past its best. (JR)

70% Pinot Blanc, 30% Auxerrois. Unoaked, winemaker Michel Otterman. Holding up very well. Intriguing to find an aged example of Pinot Blanc in a retail outlet like The Co-op but it’s good news for consumers. Especially as the wine is due to be promoted with £2 off shortly. Warmth and weight from the 2019 vintage but still has enough acidity. Great for festive poultry? (AWH)
