Tasting notes
Pale yellow. Aromas of pear and white flowers. Supple, silky wine with bright peach, apricot and spice flavors. Conveys lovely sucrosité and an easygoing character, but this wine from high on the slope is classically dry.

The 2015 Meursault Vireuils, which had not been fined unlike some others, offers enticing aromas of nectarine and white peach mixed with subtle melted wax aromas. It comes across as detailed and quite "attacking" in style. The palate is very well balanced with a harmonious entry. It sashays along with white peach, citrus lemon and hints of frangipane, leading to a cohesive and quite intense spicy finish. This is very fine, Jean-Marc, very fine.
Cask sample. Stony nose, with real sinew. Masses of matter and density. Very flattering. Opens out on the finish. Very long. (JR)
Pale, bright yellow-green. Lemon and lime aromas show a musky hint of reduction. Sweet but tight on the palate, with the bound-up citrussy flavors displaying the thickness of the year but also good energy and a fine-grained texture. Finishes suave and persistent.
