Score 16/20 · Drink 2024-2029, Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2024

Full bottle 1,318 g. Pale ruby. Tiny bubbles on the surface. Crushed leaves, green cardamom, cinnamon spice, tart red cherry, cola, and a smoky stemminess on the nose. Elevated, tart acidity, with a moderate, black-tea-flavoured finish. Tannins are light, with slight grip. While the 2019 bottling of Cuvée Margot had a bit more depth, the elegance of this would make it difficult to mistake for anything other than burgundy. (SCJ)
