Tasting notes
(the 2008 version is a blend of estate and purchased juice) Bright pale yellow. Lavender, flowers and spices on the lively nose. Sweet, broad and concentrated, with strong acidity framing but not overwhelming the sexy flavors of ripe peach, nectarine and honeysuckle. This will be accessible within a year or two.

(Bouchard's smallest cuvee) just a single one-year-old demi-muid of 320 liters): Deeply pitched aromas of apple, peach, smoke, flint and nut oil, plus a captivating hint of green melon. Big, rich and sweet, conveying a rather low-acid impression and coming across as a bit aggressive today. I was bothered by a slightly green oak note on the nose. Will this dry out or harmonize with further elevage Prost planned to move this into a stainless steel barrel in late summer.
