2021 Spatburgunder Trocken "S"

Slightly gluey on the nose. Bitter spices and bitter fruit – the wine seems to be struggling to express itself. Very high acidity. But the tannins are beautiful. Really, really silky and long. It's just that the components aren't integrating. Judging by the track record of Meyer-Näkel, maybe this wine just needs a lot more time. (TC)
