Score 80/100 · Drink 1984, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
Probably the best wine from this estate in the 1970s, this vintage has resulted in a soundly made wine, with an open-knit, plummy, oaky bouquet, soft, spicy, medium-bodied flavors that exhibit good ripeness, and light tannins present in the finish. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 12/84.
