RS 104 g/l. Bright apricot gold. Back to those dried grasses in the aroma, nutty, almost stemmy. Rich, surprisingly fresh. Deep and long. (JH)

Reserva = 5 Years Old. RS 104 g/l. Slightly darker than the Boal and more nutty. A little bit stemmy – Ricardo de Freitas prefers to keep the stems but they do mark this vintage (2006) of Malvasia a little to its detriment. (JH)

Five-year-old wine that is already dense, intense and exciting with more tension than the Boal. Manages to be both approchable and delicate despite its richness. Excellent. (JR)
