Tasting notes
Good full, deep red. Very pure, vibrant aromas of cassis, violet, licorice and peppery spices. Moderately dense but nicely concentrated and very fresh, with enticing black- and redcurrant flavors lifted by a strong spicy character. Very sexy wine, finishing very long, with ripe, spreading tannins.

(100% new oak, vs. 50% for the two village wines) Full, deep red. Cool, classy aromas of black cherry, minerals, espresso, flowers and fresh herbs. Thick on entry, then rich and chewy but reserved in the middle, with the coolness of the vintage showing today. Finishes with substantial broad, dusty tannins and very good length.
