Tasting notes
Deep, vivid red. Vibrant red and blue fruit, floral and incense scents show fine clarity and a strong, spicy topnote. Energetic raspberry, boysenberry, allspice and floral pastille flavors deepen steadily with aeration. Manages to come off rich as well as lithe and finishes smooth and very long, with well-integrated tannins and repeating red fruit and spice notes. 45% whole clusters and 37% new French oak.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Louise Vineyard has a medium ruby color and takes some time to open up its delicate scents of wild red and black berries, prosciutto, aniseed and potpourri. Seamless and ethereal, the palate is light-bodied and silky with a flourish of dark spices and a long, savory finish.
I like the richness and freshness on the nose with strawberry and floral aromas and some rose-hip tea. Itâs medium-to full-bodied with round tannins and a creamy-textured finish. Lightly chewy, showing the structure and seriousness of the wine. Drink after 2023.
