FINE+RARE, Nov 2023
This Grand Cru is always one of our favourites chez Remoissenet, but was a little closed when we tasted it in November. The nose was quiet, however on the palate you could feel the potential of the wine. There is an instant sweetness to the fruit, and mineral chalkiness to the tannin structure. It’s bright and juicy, yet more linear at this stage – not as open and approachable as many of the 2022s. Despite this, there is seamless balance here, with a subtlety and almost never-ending finish that holds great promise.
