2022 Crozes Hermitage

Bottle weight 595 g. Fermented with punchdowns and pumpovers taking place in concrete tanks. Aged for 12 months, 85% in concrete tanks. RS 1 g/l. Certified organic.  Available in 381 stores. Deep crimson. Hint of burnt rubber – not unpleasant! Some spearmint character, too. Not really the sort of artisan wine you expect to find in a supermarket. A very solid example of the appellation at a fair price. A treat at the supermarket. Clean as a whistle. (JR)
