(5-Star Wine)<br /> This was the only wine in the cellar which had been racked, with a light sulphur adjustment, for bottling in November, and represents the largest yield at 24 hl/ha. The wine displays a lovely noble purple colour with the most gorgeous bouquet, finesse and sensibility.

A blend of seven plots in Chambolle, Vosne and Nuits-St-Georges – about half of the fruit is from Chambolle. 100% whole bunch. 34 hl/ha (lower than in 2017). 10,000 bottles produced (8,500 in 2019). Lightish cherry red. Scented nose with lively fruit but savoury rather than sweet. Succulent, supple and with generous and fresh fruit. Gentle and persistent. Mouth-watering. Really polished but natural (in the general sense of the word, ie authentic) at the same time. Seems effortless. You could drink this now though it does have a fine backbone and a refreshing dry texture on the finish. (JH)

Aromas of plums and wild berries mingle with hints of raw cocoa and spices, introducing the 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Fin, a medium to full-bodied, charming and enveloping wine, its fleshy core of fruit framed by powdery, melting tannins. Cropped at a modest 32 hectoliters per hectare, this is Lachaux's highest-yielding cuvée in the 2018 vintage.

The 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Fin offers cranberry, raspberry and potpourri on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with powdery tannins and fine definition. Dark fruit surfaces toward the finish. Lovely... and dainty.
