2021 Recher Herrenberg Spatburgunder GG

TA 6.5 g/l, RS 1.5 g/l. Pale ruby in colour. Smells of currants and red crunchy fruit. Ethereal spice of rosemary and hints of spruce. Refreshing and juicy palate with lively acidity and a firm structure etched in slate stone. Deep spice undercurrents of cardamom and white pepper hint at the still-invisible depths. Surprisingly expressive and approachable for its bony minimalism. (PS)
