Tasting notes
(Outstanding Top Value)<br /> An exuberantly fresh nose offers up aromas of various dark berries, violet and a whiff of spice. The lilting yet intense middle weight flavors possess a highly refined mouthfeel as well as evident minerality on the balanced and sneaky long finish. This lovely effort is very Chambollesque.

The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cabottes is finer boned and more elegant than the muscular Morey that preceded it, offering up inviting aromas of raspberries, plums, spices and rose petals that are framed by a discreet patina of new oak. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless, it's lively and precise, concluding with a long, penetrating finish.
The Chambolle-Musigny Les Cabottes, picked over two tries through the vineyard, offers a mixture of red and black fruit, incense and light peony scents, just a faint tang of marmalade in the background. This feels very composed. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, crisp acidity, taut and fresh with a very elegant and poised finish. Excellent.
