Tasting notes
Sinegal's 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark and plush. Black cherry, mocha, leather, licorice, chocolate and spice are all amped up in a lush, forward Cabernet that will drink well upon release. This is an especially bold, juicy style. Sweet floral and spice notes add freshness to the dark red cherry fruit in this expressive Cabernet Sauvignon.

Made up of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec, 4% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color with baked blackcurrants, dried black cherries, mocha and prunes with hints of fried herbs and cigars. Medium-bodied, it is a little hollow and chewy and finishes abruptly.
Leading off the barrel samples, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a charming, forward effort that has medium to full-bodied notes of cassis and high-toned blue fruits, flowers, forest floor, and hints of vanilla bean. It’s nicely balanced, has terrific tannins, and a great finish.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is silky and plush, with soft contours that push the fruit forward. Ripe, sweet tannins add to an impression of a wine that should drink well with minimal cellaring. Raspberry jam, spice, torrefaction and floral notes add to the wine's racy, upfront appeal. Although the 2017 is quite soft, it also has a good bit of acidity as well.
