2018 Gaudin

Full bottle 1,340 g. Famille Capdevielle. Much more muddied in terms of flavour, texture and structure than their 2019. Tough-as-old-boots tannins, which massively dry the mouth out. Lacking the 2019's fruit and freshness. But the acidity is integrated and it may come through when those tannins loosen their grip. (TC)
