Tasting notes
From magnum at a Claret Club dinner at The Ledbury, this was still admirably vigorous and gorgeously ripe and charming. Made me think that Ch Lafleur 1995 itself should probably be kept awhile longer. (JR)

From The Purple Notebook – Lafleur Dinner at The Groucho Club organised by Armit June 2005 Blackish crimson. Sleek. Voluptuous nose, almost a blunt nose. Rich and lively. Great balance. Very long. A very good year, says Jacques Guinaudeau. Very, very soothing texture – a great sore-throat wine. (JR)
