AP number 22 22. Ripe pear and lightly smoky with herbal notes of spontaneous fermentation. Perfectly judged (unless you really don't like this character). Ripe fruit on the palate too, pure citrus. Long and refined. (JH)

Serious smoky aromas, ripe apricots and flinty touches. Juicy mid palate with taut edges and a creamy mineral core. Chalky, grapefruit, and surprisingly balanced. Never weighty, always moving with a mouth-watering astringency on the lingering finish. The longer it stays in the glass the more layers it reveals. We're not supposed to talk about favourites, but… Drinking beautifully now but the potential is enormous. (PS)
