Tasting notes
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch Vineyard is open-knit, velvety and drop-dead gorgeous. Texturally seamless and so smooth, the 2019 delivers loads of crème de cassis, sweet pipe tobacco, dark cherry jam and incense. Dusty tannins coat the palate as 2019 wine confidently dances across the palate. A long, polished finish wraps things up in style. It's decidedly modern, but undeniably attractive.

This 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch is expressive of more savory aromas of woodsy spice, blackcurrant, and black cherry. It is layered with a rounded mid-palate, and luxurious with fresh leather and fine tannins. This is drinking really well right now but will continue to improve over the next decade or more.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch Vineyard is stunning and graceful. Medium to deep ruby in color, its aromas unfold slowly, Morello cherry, blueberries and violet segueing to layers of eucalyptus, grilled meats, dried herbs and graphite. The full-bodied palate is generous but not overripe, with chocolate-textured tannins, bursts of fresh acidity and a long finish replete with loads of fine, spicy accents from its maturation in 80% new French oak. Bottled in August of 2021, this stunner promises long development in the cellar. 387 cases were made.
