2021 Corton Charlemagne

Jean-Claude Ramonet is the most famous winemaker in Chassagne-Montrachet, celebrated for producing some of the finest and collectable Grand Cru bottlings in Burgundy today. While famed for his Montrachets, Ramonet in 2021, has made just his second-ever négociant bottling of Grand Cru Corton-Charlemagne. Some of the most vibrant Chardonnays have been produced from the distinct hilltop of Corton. Its steep, south-west facing slopes and full exposure bring amazing ripeness to the grapes, while its elevation retains fantastic freshness and intensity. It is a Grand Cru of real distinction.
