There’s bright and vibrant red cherry fruit on the nose, with a lovely peppery edge and seamless balance on the palate. There’s great mid-palate depth and wonderful concentration of red fruit, perfectly balanced by great acidity. There is classic Marsannay sweetness and this is so good to drink now with those smooth tannins – it’s open for business, but has everything needed to evolve in bottle. A great Marsannay.
