The nose of the Felsenberg demonstrates what happens when herbs meet fruit and are instantly attracted to each other. An alluring aroma of fresh green mint is very comfortable in the fragrant company of ripe yellow fruit. This freshness effortlessly transcends on to the palate, where the partnership of ripe nectarines and mirabelles, minty leaves and lively acidity is stimulating rather than dominating. Just a sparkle of flinty minerality completes the fine tuning of an intellectual interpretation of Grosses Gewächs. (MS)
