More smoky than the Bruderberg. More sulphidic. The acidity seems higher here but the whole is relatively simple at the moment. Like the Bruderberg, more flavour on the mid palate than persistence. (JH)

Deep nose of white and yellow peach, Amalfi lemon and fresh garden herbs. Stunning interplay of ripeness, racy acidity and very intense slatey minerality that runs right through the wine to the very end where the wet stone character is almost as intense as this can possibly get. Drink or hold.
