(made of declassified Pommard, Volnay, Savigny-les-Beaune, Corton, Clos Vougeot and Clos de la Roche) Palish red. Sexy aromas of plum, redcurrant, smoked meat, mushroom and earth. Supple, sweet and shapely, with slightly dry-edged flavors of iron and tobacco. A very shapely wine with lovely persistence.
