The 2019 Pera Manca Branco has a beguilingly complex aroma profile, leaning on the exotically perfumed side with a combination of quince, ginger, golden apple, juicy sultanas, white florals and honeysuckle, spun sugar – yet always swinging back around to a fresh, cool granite-driven minerality. On the palate it is impressively driven and concentrated, with a very serious sweep across the taste buds of scintillating salinity, finishing with great depth and length of fruit and spice flavours. It is full and broad and powerful, yet compact and tensile. Really fantastic.
