Tasting notes
Strawberry with black tea accents and a saline crunch. 100% whole cluster, this wine has more apparent tannin and structural presence than other Flowers Pinots. It will evolve well but needs time in bottle to open and unwind. (ECB)

The 2012 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge Vineyard is quite a bit sweeter, richer and darker than the Sea View Ridge Block. Dark red and purplish fruit, hard candy, red cherries and spices flesh out in a racy, polished Pinot to drink now.
The 2012 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge Block 11 comes from a lower yielding block with only 20% whole clusters used. It was made from the Swan, Pommard and Wadenswil clones as well as Dijon clones 114 and 115. It possesses a light, diluted color, notes of pomegranates, plums and berries, and fades quickly in the mouth. Once again, there is just not a lot there. Drink it up.
