FINE+RARE, Nov 2021
The Chassagne-Montrachet La Maltroie has a crisp and mineral profile. There are charming notes of peeled orange and crushed white flowers. The palate is quite closed at the moment, but this will evolve with time. You can feel the wine’s great acid structure and generous weight. The finish is direct, linear and ripe. This has great potential – leave it for seven or eight years before touching it.
