Tasting Notes
Les Narbantons is an absolute favourite at FINE+RARE. The nose is nicely concentrated, fresh and fruity, with beautiful redcurrant and fresh raspberry aromas. This is beautifully balanced, the silky tannins and vibrant acidity well integrated with the red berry fruit. Medium-bodied, the palate is both delicious and mouth-coating with a gentle bitterness that helps boost the long, gourmand and crunchy finish. This goes on for a good 20 seconds – exquisite! It feels so approachable now, you almost want to start drinking it from the barrel, but reason suggests you should wait another three years to really savour it. Highly recommended.
