At present this is quite muted on the nose – offering brooding dark fruit that isn’t quite ready to reveal itself. On the palate, however, it’s thrilling with enchanting freshness to offset the concentrated kernel of fruit at the wine’s heart. Medium-bodied with fine-textured tannins that barely register, there’s a line of acidity that pulls the wine together and drives to a long finish.
