FINE+RARE
Borgogno is one of Barolo’s oldest producers, with a history stretching back to the 18th century. While Nebbiolo is what they are best known for, they have a long history of crafting the region’s aromatised fortified wines. We estimate this bottle of Bianco is from the late 1970s or early 1980s. Please get in touch if you would like additional photographs to assess its condition.
About the producer

Giacomo Borgogno & Figli
One of Piedmont’s oldest estates, Giacomo Borgogno & Figli, often known as just “Borgogno”, is archly traditional. Favouring long macerations and extended ageing in Slavonian cask, it is best known for its impressive Barolos, especially the prized late releases from its extensive library stock.
