FINE+RARE

Rosso Antico is based on distillery founder Jean Buton’s recipe. The so-called “prince of aperitifs”, invented in 1962, contains 33 botanicals and is richly floral in taste. It is excellent in an Americano and could be used in a Negroni if you supplement the Campari. We estimate this bottle of Rosso Antico is from the 1970s, a mere decade after the recipe was created. Please get in touch if you would like additional photographs to assess its condition.
