Tasting notes
The 2019 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese is very delicate and intense on the ripe and aromatic, well-concentrated and flinty bouquet with delicate slate and herbal aromas. Enormously complex and endless salty on the palate, this is a persistent, structured and sustainable ZSU with great aging potential. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.

AP number 11 20. A bit dumb on the nose. Pure, direct fruit on the palate. The ingredients are all there but are unknit. Green-apple sensation with a hint of pear juice. Lightweight and there is not that much apparent difference between this and a Kabinett, so pronounced is the acidity. (JR)
