Score 15.5/20 · Drink 2022-2030, Tom Parker MW, jancisrobinson.com, Sep 2021

Destined to be sold under The Wine Society's own label too, in due course. Tasted blind.  Deep ruby colour. Dark, brambly fruit underneath some leathery savour. Tobacco and hedgerow fruits mingle together with pithy, woody tannins on a chalky and earthy palate. Good fruit in the middle, with tannins that soften to suggest fairly early drinking. (TP)
