Lightly poached pear and apple are tinged with vanilla on a lovely nose. Vanilla cream mingles with the pear and apple on a glossy, caressing yet stimulatingly juicy palate. The purity of fruit, adeptly supported by the wine’s residual sugar, is irresistible, and persists into a hauntingly persistent finish of utmost delicacy and consummate refreshment. Although for now at least this offering doesn’t sound in the mineral register, it’s still ringingly clear as well as pure.
